Over the span of his life and career as an artist and in the aviation industry, media selection and materials became increasingly more high-tech.

Working with Canadian Aviation & Electronics (CAE) in the late 1950s, then with Trans Canada Airlines (TCA), now Air Canada, the influence was obvious.

New materials, surfaces, shapes, designs, and approaches to design and construction impacted his work.

An example of this influence is clearly demonstrated in his award and execution of the 1967 Winnipeg Concert Hall Commission.

These works were entirely built with layers of machined aluminum, enabling 3-dimensional relief, and an enduring legacy well into the future.
